Installation of a warning light
ATTENTION
Maximum current consumption warning light
The current consumption of a connected warning light must not exceed 1 A. Greater current consumption
can destroy parts of the system.

Make sure that the current consumption of a connected warning light may not exceed 1 A.
For installation of the (optional) warning light, connect it with the provided interface of the printing system. A descrip-
tion of the interface is provided under "
Interface
of
the
printing
system
".
Please observe that the cable must be appropriately screened for safe operation and that the maximum permissible
length defined in "
Mechanical
data
" may not be exceeded.
Contact your dealer for information on availability of an appropriate warning light.

Performing a test print
Before performing a test print, please check the following:
▪
The printer is correctly and securely mounted in a machine frame.
▪
The air pressure is correctly adjusted.
▪
All cables and air tubes are safely routed and secured.
▪
The backing pad plate is clean, level and properly secured, as well as positioned at a suitable distance.
▪
The support material is free from dust, abrasion material, oil and other foreign material.
▪
The ribbon is loaded correctly and the
cassette is locked in place.
Step 1
: Switch on the printing system and transmit a suitable print image to the printer.
Step 2
:
Place a piece of label ‘test paper’ between the printhead and backing pad plate
Step 3
: Initiate a printout.
