Line termination
The T1 port can be configured for DS1 or DSX1 termination. DS1 is used for
off-premise applications and DSX1 termination for on-premise applications. The
default is DSX1.
When the port is configured for DS1 termination, the line build-out can be
configured to be one of the values shown in Table 10-3.
When the port is configured for DSX1 termination, the line length can be configured
to be one of the values shown in Table 10-3.
