4.3. Task 2: Configure SPR for IP Routing

The next step is to configure the SPR for IP routing. This is performed using
WipConfig.

Warning:

In this procedure, you need to reset the SPR to factory default

settings. This results in the deletion of the NVRAM frequency tables. Therefore,
it is recommended to save the NVRAM frequency tables before performing this
procedure.

Note:

It is recommended to configure the SPRs through a serial connection.

To configure SPR for IP routing (WipConfig):

Start WipConfig.
