Maintaining the FID

Remove the collector housing from the mount, if
necessary.

Use tweezers to remove the gasket from the bottom of the
housing.
The collector assembly is now completely disassembled.
Reassemble as follows:

Use tweezers to install a new gasket onto the housing,
being sure that it lays flat on the brass surface.

Install the collector insulators.
a
Insert one of the insulators into the base of the
housing. Seat the insulator with the flat surface facing
out of the housing.

Insert the long end of collector into the housing and
lower insulator.
