Attaché, for quick monitoring of input signals. Toggle

(if enabled) is canceled by using any transport control command to move the disk

enabled, but Bypass automatically cancels when the disks move.

Press

GPI Out
) after typing a number (from 1 to 4) on the numeric
keypad to trigger one of the four available GPI output ports. For example, typing
the number 2, then pressing
will trigger GPI output port number two.
When triggered, the selected number appears in the column adjacent to the “
GPI
Out
” label.
The duration of the GPI output pulse can be from one field to 3,200 fields. You
set the duration by typing a duration value into the numeric keypad before typing
the GPI Output number. For example, to trigger GPI Output 3 with a four field
duration pulse, you type 43 on the numeric keypad and then press
.
You may use GPI output pulses to trigger external devices. You may also use the
GPI Out function to trigger devices manually, or to trigger devices automatically
by including the trigger as part of a macro sequence.

enabled, numeric values such as IN points and OUT
points are shown in timecode format (seconds:frames), with

representing
the start of disk. A colon between digits represents field 2 of the designated
frame. A period between digits represents field 1 of the designated frame.
