When the line standard is changed, the images recorded on disk in the
previous standard can no longer be played back properly.
1. To change the Video Line Standard:

TV Std/Format
2. Toggle between the four following line standard/video format choices:

525 8-Bit
Selects the 525 (NTSC) Line Standard, with 8-bit
recording and playback resolution on disk.
Â
525 10-Bit
Selects the 525 (NTSC) Line Standard, with 10-bit
recording and playback resolution on disk.
Â
625 8-Bit
Selects the 625 (PAL) Line Standard, with 8-bit
recording and playback resolution on disk.
Â
625 10-Bit
Selects the 625 (PAL) Line Standard, with 10-bit
recording and playback resolution on disk.
3. To confirm your line standard selection:

Press
Confirm Change to...
When is pressed, the Attaché changes line standards and places the
system Play Ref into Free Run mode if the line standard is changed to the
opposite standard. If the parameter is changed between “8-Bit” and “10-Bit”
while staying in the same line standard, then the Free Run mode is not
automatically selected. Check

)
and select the desired sync
source as necessary.
4. To cancel the change:

Press
TV Std/Format
again.
OR
ƒ
Press to quit and return to the previous standard/format.
