RGB 4:4:4
This selects the component digital RGB “Dual Link”
video format. What was formerly the 4:2:2 digital
video track is now configured to carry the green
channel and half of the red and blue channel
information. This is referred to as “Link-A”. The
remaining half of the red and blue channel information
is carried on the former 0:2:2 digital key track. This is
referred to as “Link-B”.

When softkey F5 is toggled to the opposite setting, video material which
was already present on the disk will not playback properly, since the video
material on disk is no longer compatible with the format of the video
output.
If you change this parameter in error, then simply change it back to the
previous setting

but do so before you make any new recordings!

F7 Record Length
Press (
Record Length
) after typing a value into the numeric keypad to
set the record length (or “record duration”). On the status menu overlay, the new
Record Length
value is displayed next to the “R=” symbol in the upper portion of
the display. The
Record Length
value determines the length of time the Attaché
will record when a recording is performed.
All new recordings start at the current disk location. Note that the record length
can also be changed by typing a value into the numeric keypad and then pressing
and holding down the red button during which the
is pressed. This action
changes the record length and initiates a new recording.
