Referring to Figure 2.26 above:

The Segment List Status line displays the current segment number, followed
by the total number of segments in the list. As you press
(
Previous
) and (
Next
) to move through the list, the display
updates accordingly. If a pair of question marks (??) is displayed in place of
the current segment number, it indicates that the current Segment is past the
end of the Segment List so that if inserted, this segment will append the list.
The time in the right column is the total time of the Segment List.

F10 In/Out/Goto
Pressing (
In/Out/Goto
) toggles a parameter which is used by the
segment editor that determines the method of numeric keypad entry for the IN and
OUT points of the play repeat functions (Loop or Ping Pong), as well as numeric
entry for the “Goto” function. There are two possible settings:
Use Seg ID
and
Use Timecode
.

Use Seg ID
Interprets numbers entered as the segment ID number,
rather than as a timecode (or frame) value. With the
Use Seg ID
parameter selected, marking any IN or
OUT points during segment play will result in a marked
segment ID rather than a marked timecode value.
