Select this format for the CAV output if the CAV
output of Attaché is connected to a device that accepts
RGB formatted component analog video.

The F1 softkey in the Video Setup Menu (F3 from the HOME menu)
allows you to toggle ON and OFF the 54mV Beta setup on the CAV output
- whether it’s set to “Analog Beta” or “Analog RGB”.

) to select the desired Attaché video system locking
(also called “synchronizing”) reference. A synchronizing signal must be present
in order to perform proper recordings on Attaché. Possible settings are:

to synchronize the Attaché to an
external reference signal (such as “Color Black” or
“Black Burst”) which is connected to the
REFERENCE
BNC connector on the 9,'(2 card (and .(< card, if so
equipped) at the rear of the Attaché main chassis. This
setting is the most typical. If there is no valid
composite analog video signal present on this
connector, then a “No Sync” error message will appear
on the Status Menu Overlay display.

The “Digital In” selection on softkey F3 Play Ref is possible only if softkey
F1 Video In is set to “Digital D1”.
