802.3 Resilience Screen

The Resilience screen:

■

shows the current status of the resilient ports,

■

allows you to change the standby port,

■

enables you to force the use of the standby port, and

■

permits you to enable or disable resilience.

Main Port -

Displays the slot and port numbers of the main port you

selected from the Module Configuration screen.

Current Standby Port -

Gives the slot and port numbers of the

standby port you have set up. If you have not yet set up a standby

port, the field will appear when you confirm the selection of a

standby port.

Standby Port -

Gives the slot and port numbers of the ports which

can take part in resilience, i.e.: are disabled. Select one using the

Space Bar. Confirm your selection with the CONFIRM button. The

selected port will be removed from the table in the list box.

Media -

This field indicates the media type of the port. Use the table

opposite to determine the media type.
