configured to use the same Community String otherwise it will
ignore the traps.
Throttle
To prevent a remote network management station
receiving lots of traps at once, you can configure the Chassis to
transmit traps with a delay in between each successive trap
transmission. If several traps are generated at once, they will be
transmitted with the specified delay in between each transmission.
The default value is 100, which gives a 0.1 second delay. The unit of
throttle is one milli-second.
Setting the Serial Port Parameters
If you alter the serial port parameters you will terminate any existing
RS232 session with the management facility when you exit the screen.
Ensure that the remote end of the RS232 connection is set to the new
configuration so that you will still be able to access the facility from it
when you change the Serial Port parameters.
