3.5 Functional description
3.5.1 Operating concept
In order to ensure that the optimal device settings are available
during different surgical phases, different surgery profiles can be
created for each user. The device automatically adds the user's
profile to a list of working steps. The order of surgery profiles in the
list of working steps can be modified.
The first surgery profile is always activated when the device is
started or moved out of the park position. If configured accord-
ingly, a button on the 14-function foot control panel or the
handgrips can be pressed to switch to the next or previous surgery
profile in the list of working steps during surgery. This enables the
user to quickly select the optimal device settings during different
phases of surgery.
It is also possible to set a surgery profile for use with the RESIGHT
700 fundus viewing system. In this case, the surgery profile is
automatically activated when the RESIGHT 700 is swiveled into
position. When the RESIGHT 700 is swiveled back out, the next
surgery profile in the list is automatically activated.
