5.2.2 Adjusting friction
The friction setting allows the surgical microscope to rotate left and
right.
Action 1. To increase mobility: rotate the friction knob counter clockwise.
2. To decrease mobility: rotate the friction knob clockwise.
5.2.3 Positioning the assistant's microscope
The swivel mechanism allows the assistant's microscope to be
positioned to the left or right of the main observer.
Action 1. Press the locking button and swivel the assistant's microscope a
bit in the desired direction until the locking position has been
overridden.
2. Release the locking button and continue to swivel the
assistant's microscope until the lock snaps into position
automatically.
Result

The assistant’s microscope is secured to prevent it from
swiveling out.
