Installing XANTÉ Command Center
Your printer package includes a special utility called Command
Center. This utility allows you to go through Windows instead of
DOS to set up your printer for Novell NetWare. Setup differs for
Windows 3.1 or 3.11 or for Windows 95. Both setups are covered in
this section. Once Command Center is installed, see your Ethernet
manual for instructions on setting up Novell.
Command Center Setup (Windows 3.1 or
3.11)
1. Open Windows 3.1 or 3.11.
2. Place your XANTÉ Command Center disk in drive A or B.
3. Go to PROGRAM MANAGER and highlight FILE.
4. Highlight and click RUN.
5. At the DOS prompt, type
A:\SETUP
or
B:\SETUP
,
depending on which drive you used in step 1.
6. Click OK. The utility will install itself.
Command Center Setup (Windows 95)
1. Open Windows 95.
2. Place your XANTÉ Command Center disk in drive A or B.
3. Highlight and click RUN.
4. Type
A:\SETUP
or
B:\SETUP
, depending on which drive
you used in step 2.
5. Click OK. The utility will install itself.
