Voice/FAX Daughter Card
The Analogue Voice/FAX Daughter Card (VI68702) is hosted by the 4-channel
Analogue Voice/FAX card (VI68701), which presents connectors for channels 5 to 8
when required. These are activated when the Daughter Card is detected. The host
card must be removed from the chassis and the Daughter Card plugged in on top of
the mating connectors. The whole assembly may then be reinstalled in the chassis.
The Analogue Voice/FAX Daughter Card is fitted with a number of jumper links which are identical in
position and function to those on the Analogue Voice/FAX Motherboard. Please refer to section 2.4.1 for
details.
The Daughter Card supports a further four fully independent voice/FAX channels. The ring voltage power
supply module fitted to the motherboard has sufficient capacity for driving all eight channels and does not
need to be upgraded.
