. The tools are connected using the pin with the safety cotter pin.
The Z-02 pin
is not included in the supply of the
RAPTOR
Hydro
carrier; it is necessary to separately purchase it as accessories under the
ordering No: 121001
.
Fig. 10
The ANV-200 single-axle trailer:
place the eye between the lugs of the hitch on the tube of the carrier bumper; insert the pin to the
hitch from above
The AV-650 sulky:
insert the double eye of the sulky to the lower lug of the hitch placed on the tube of the carrier bumper; insert the
pin to the hitch from above; it must always go through the both lugs of the hitch of the sulky!
To connect the sulky, never use the short pin contained in the sulky product package. This pin will not ensure the right
joining of the hitches and will damage the both hitches!
The pin must be always secured against falling out by the safety cotter pin!
3.4.6 Recommendations for the Winter Operation of the Machine
3.4.6.1 Operation of the Engine
Air filter:
we recommend to take out the air filter insert. It will prevent the air filter from freezing.
CAUTION:
this applies only for the
engine operation in the dust-free environment!
Engine oil:
replace the oil filling with
SAE 5W-30
fully synthetic engine oil with the specification
ACEA 3, VW 504.00/507.00
.
3.4.6.2 Operation of the Machine
Before the winter season, thoroughly lubricate Bowden cables with oil repelling water and damp. You will prevent the operation from
becoming difficult or the wire from freezing in the Bowden.
After finishing the work, thoroughly clean the machine from the snow. It is especially necessary to perform the cleaning before you store
the machine in the tempered space and use it e.g. on the next day. The wetness inside the machine (caused by the melting snow) could
start freezing when the machine is operated again, which could impede the further use of the machine.
3.4.6.3 Storage
Do not store the machine in the environment where the temperature drops below 0° C (a basement is suitable, as well as e.g. a tempered
garage).
Before starting the engine of the machine that was stored at the temperature below -5° C, first let the machine warm up in the tempered
premises.
When operated in the conditions with the temperatures below -5° C, we recommend the following:
Before commencing the work with the machine, leave the engine running for so long that it gets sufficiently warm.
Suction holes for cooling air on the manual starter should be closed with the self-adhesive tape. The engine will then
warm up more quickly and it will be more thermally stable during the work.
3.5 Maintenance, Care, Storage
Owing to the weight of the machine, all maintenance and adjustment should be performed by two people.
To secure a long-term satisfaction with our product, it is necessary to provide it with due care and maintenance. By providing regular
maintenance you will reduce its wear and you will secure correct operation of all its parts.
Observe all instructions concerning maintenance and adjusting intervals. We recommend that you keep records of operating hours and the
conditions under which the machine is used (these may be useful for servicing centres). We recommend that you have the post-season
maintenance implemented by one of our authorized service centres; the same applies to standard maintenance if you are not certain of
your technical capabilities.
The good help to monitor operating hours is the
VARI PowerMeter
device. This accessories can be bought with every
dealer of VARI products.
Prior to each use of the device, check the tightening of the bolts fastening the attachment, its work tool and all
screwed connections of guards, covers and the motor!
Replace the lost screwed connections with the original parts that are designed for the given spot. By using
unoriginal low-quality parts, you expose yourself to the risk of injury or damage to the machine!
3.5.1 Recommended Tools and Accessories
For assembling and maintenance of the machine, we recommend the below stated accessories and tools
