cut away the rear wall of the box with a sharp knife and move out the machine from the box by travelling backwards.
In order to prevent the machine from falling to the side where the engine is situated, support the machine at the point under the rear
hitch with a suitable and sufficiently stable support that is 20 cm high, as indicated at
Fig.
. Use the support always when a
tool is not attached.
3.4.1.2 Machine Assembly Procedure
The machine is supplied completely assembled and adjusted. Loose the tightening nut and lift the handlebars upwards. Turn the
handlebars by 180° clockwise and secure the handlebars joint in the central position, see chapter
3.4.1.3 Operating Fluids
The machine may be shipped without its engine operating fluids
(depending on different national regulations)!
1.
Check the engine oil level or fill the engine with the specified type and amount of oil.
2.
Fill the tank with the prescribed quantity and type of petrol
3.
The travel transmission is already filled with oil by the manufacturer
. The oil level in the gearbox tank is about 10 mm from the
bottom of the tank. For oil specification, see
Table 30: Measured Noise and Vibrations Levels.
4.
Check the pressure in the tyres – see Chapter
3.4.1.4 Handlebars Adjustment
The handlebars can be adjusted in two axes. The handlebars grips can be horizontally adjusted, after loosening the tightening nut, to the
required height so that the machine can be conveniently controlled by persons of different height – see
Fig.
on page
. The entire tube
handlebars can be adjusted to the left or right side – see
Fig.

1.
Loosen the tightening nut

so that the ratchet

gets partially loose. Turn the
handlebars
4
to the new position; higher force must be applied to the handlebars grip to move the positioning ratchet to the
new position. It is not a malfunction, but the natural feature of the design of this knob.
2.
By applying pressure on the bended part of the positioning pin

, push out the pin from the joint

; by further turning the
handlebars

3.4.2 Control Elements for Controlling the Travel of the Machine and their Use
3.4.2.1 Switching between the Manual and Motorized Travel
The gearbox is equipped with the bypass lever for disengaging the motorized travel of the gearbox, which facilitates the manual travel
with the machine. It is placed above the tube bumper that is fitted with the hitch. The designation on the sticker with safety pictograms is
made by the expression
BYPASS ON-OFF
.
The positions (see
Fig.
on page
as seen from the operator’s perspective) :
- the position on the left:
The transmission is disengaged, it is possible to manually move the machine.
The resistance when manually pushing the machine is affected by the temperature of the oil in the gearbox. If the oil is
cold, it is more difficult to move the machine than when the ambient temperature is higher or when the oil is warmed
up to the operational temperature.
Even if the gearbox is hydrostatic, there are cogged gears of the pumps and of the permanent transmission of the axle
inside. The operational noise coming from the gearbox during the manual movement of the machine is normal; it does
not affect the function of the gearbox or its service life. The operational noise may not be subject of any complaint.
WARNING! Never use the manual travel position when parking the machine on the slope. Especially when the oil
is warmed up to the maximum operational temperature, there is nothing that could brake the drive axle and the
machine could be accidentally set in motion.
- the position on the right:
The gearbox is connected to the engine drive; it is not possible to manually move the machine. Use always
this position in the following cases:
the machine is parked on a slope,
when securing the machine during its transport by car,
when parking the machine.
3.4.2.2 Travel Speed Selection
Engage the reverse speed only when the machine is fully stopped and with the travel clutch disengaged!
In the event that you change the gear during the movement of the machine, proceed with caution! The machine
steered using only one hand may change the course unexpectedly.
65
You will find the information in the operating instructions for the engine; these engine operating instructions are included in the back containing spare parts.
66
Please, familiarize yourself with required oil replacement intervals in the chapter 3.5.3 Machine Lubrication.
