iv. Select the Use the following TCP listen port for incoming event option
and enter the port range you have assigned for ICQ File Transfer in
GateLock’s IP Port Forwarding screen.
v. Click Apply. A confirmation dialog box appears.
vi. Click OK.
Your ICQ File Transfer should now work with GateLock.
8. When Webmail scanning is enabled, some Web pages are not displayed
properly. How do I fix this?
This is a compatibility issue. There are two ways to solve this problem. You can
either disable the Use HTTP 1.1 check box in your Internet Explorer’s Internet
Options or you can turn off GateLock’s Webmail scanning. We recommend that
you first try disabling Use HTTP 1.1. If this does not work, disable Webmail
scanning.
To disable HTTP 1.1:
i. Click Tools > Internet Options on your Internet Explorer’s menu bar. The
Internet Options window opens.
ii. Click the Advanced tab.
iii. Under HTTP 1.1 settings, clear the Use HTTP 1.1 check box.
iv. Click OK.
9. POP3, SMTP, and HTTP are normally assigned port 110, port 25, and port
80, respectively. If I assign other ports to these protocols, will GateLock still
be able to scan my incoming mail, outgoing mail, and Webmail attachments
for viruses?
No, GateLock will not be able to scan your incoming mail, outgoing mail, and
Webmail attachments for viruses if you assign other ports to these protocols.
Also, you will not be notified that your mail message or Webmail attachment has
not been scanned.
10. What should I do if I get a "Page Not Found" error message when I try to
upgrade my GateLock components?
If you get a "Page Not Found" Web error message, simply refresh your browser
and try upgrading your GateLock components again.
11. Why do I get an "Unknown" error message on the GateLock configuration
console when I click Update > Product Update from the sidebar?
