Clicking the Security hyperlink on the sidebar displays 4 menu items: Antivirus
Options, Antivirus Logs, Anti-Hacker Options, and Anti-Hacker Logs.
Antivirus Options
One of GateLock’s powerful features is antivirus protection. It scans POP3
(incoming) and SMTP (outgoing) mail messages and Webmail attachments for
viruses.
Antivirus Options allows you to change your GateLock’s antivirus protection
settings. You can disable GateLock’s antivirus protection or change the action
GateLock will take when a virus is detected in your incoming and outgoing email
messages. We recommend that you keep the antivirus protection enabled to secure
your computer and network environment.
To view or modify your antivirus settings, click Security > Antivirus Options on the
sidebar. The Antivirus Options screen, shown in Figure 3-15, loads.

Webmail scanning
GateLock can scan Webmail attachments when you download them from the
Internet. However, unlike your POP3 and SMTP mail, Webmail attachments can
only be cleaned, or deleted if uncleanable; GateLock does not Pass infected files.
