Trend Micro™ GateLock™ User’s Guide

Activating TCP/IP

Before you can use a PC for Internet access, you must activate its TCP/IP software.
This must be done for each computer you wish to use in conjunction with GateLock.

To activate TCP/IP:

1. Click the Start menu.

2. Click Settings > Control Panel.

3. Double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel window. The Network

window appears.

4. Display the Configuration tab of the Network window, then click on the

appropriate selection for the binding of TCP/IP and your Ethernet adapter. (You
may have more than one TCP/IP selection available.)

5. Click Add. The Select Network Component Type window appears.
