Quick Setup Complete

WARNING!

Even if you have already completed Quick Setup, your GateLock’s anti-hacker

and antivirus features are not yet activated. You must register your GateLock
online to activate your antivirus and anti-hacker protection. Click the Online
Registration link on the sidebar to open the Online Registration page. See

Online Registration

on page 3-33.

After you complete Quick Setup and finish registering your GateLock online, you
may close the GateLock configuration console by closing your browser window, or
perform other configuration tasks by clicking the other links on the sidebar.

Connection

Clicking the Connection hyperlink on the sidebar displays 3 menu items: Connection
Settings, On-Demand Connection and ISP Requirements.

Connection Settings

Connection Settings allows you to change your Quick Setup configuration about how
GateLock obtains its IP address.

For example, assume that you were using a dynamic IP address to connect to the
Internet but later decided to change your ISP. Your new ISP has assigned you a static
IP address. You must modify your GateLock’s connection settings to be able to
connect to the Internet.
