Applications
1. GTCOM2 communicator is used with third-party PSTN/non-
2G/3G/4G LTE alarm panels as a communication gateway via 2G/3G/4G
LTE and IP-based networks for
data transmission from the alarm panel
to monitoring station
and/or listed user phone number
by SMS text
message, app notifications.
A lot of security control panels are not able to send SMS to a user to inform
about alarms and other events of the security system.
GTCOM2 can
simulate PSTN line, receive DTMF Contact ID messages and convert
them into readable format as well as to send SMS message
to a user via
GSM network.
Alarm panel must support DTMF (tone) dialing and Ademco Contact ID
data format according to SIA SIA DC-05 standard.
Up to 8 listed user phone numbers
will be able to receive an SMS text
messages, regarding arming/disarming and other events depending on the
alarm panel configuration.

- To control primary alarm panel from GTCOM2 and see the status in
app
- To control GTCOM2 from primary alarm panel and see the status in
keyboard.

The module GTCOM2 is
a security, automation and access control,
remote control
system, designed to be easy to use, provides installers with
labor-saving features that make expanding, installing and servicing these
systems quick and convenient.
The module has system
voltage control
. If power supply voltage drops
below the defined value, a user automatically will be notified via SMS. The
SMS message includes voltage of backup battery (System Voltage).
SMS periodical test ensures communication control
of the module.
Once installed, the system can be programmed remotely via GPRS
connection or via USB using SERA2 upload/download software.
Features of the module GTCOM2
Connects to panel’s landline dialer
:
-
Communicator can be connected to control panel’s landline dialer with 2
or 4 wires.
- When connected with 4 wires, the landline between the panel and
communicator will be monitored. Sends events to monitoring station
receiver:
- Can send event messages to SIA DC-09 receivers.
- Connection supervision by polling to IP receiver every 30 seconds (or by
user defined period).
- Backup channel that will be used if connection with the primary channel
is lost.
- Events can be reported to CMS with SMS messages. SMS will be sent
even if data connection stops working in the mobile operator network.
- With parallel communication channels events can be sent to two
receivers at same time.
- When Sera Cloud service is enabled, events are first delivered to CMS,
and only then are sent to app users.

- Remote system Arm/Disarm.
- Remote control of connected devices (lights, gates, ventilation systems,
heating, sprinklers, etc.).
- Remote temperature monitoring
- Users can also be informed about events with SMS messages and phone
calls.
Notifies users:
- Users can be notified about events not only with mobile, web app, but
also with SMS messages and a call
Controllable outputs and inputs:
- 2 programmable selectable inputs or outputs (I/O1, I/O2);
- 2 digital inputs for Wiegand reader;
- 1 input for 1-wire sensors, iButtons;
- RS485 Bus
- Outputs could be controlled via mobile, web app, iButton keys, RFID
cards, short call, sms.
- Selectable type of inputs: NC; NO; NC/EOL; NO/EOL; NC/DEOL;
NO/DEOL
Quick setup:
- Settings can be saved to file and quickly written to other
communicators.
- Remote configuration and firmware updates.
