Turn Signal Indicator Control

Turn Signal Indicators

Illumination control for the left and right side turn signal indicators is performed

from the light stalk by moving the stalk up or down. Use the turn signal indicators

anytime a turn or a lane change is made in order to signal other drivers of your

intentions. Always make sure the turn signal indicators are off after making a

lane change or turn.
The light stalk provides two modes of operation for each direction of the turn

signal indicators: momentary lane change or self-canceling turn. When the

left or right turn signal indicators are activated, the front and rear turn signal

indicators for that side of the vehicle illuminate and flash until the light stalk

is released (momentary lane change) or the turn is completed and the steering

wheel is straightened once again (self-canceling).

Left Turn Signal Indicator - Move the light stalk up. Moving the light

stalk up halfway activates the momentary lane change; pushing the light

stalk past the switch detent activates the self- canceling signal.

Right Turn Signal Indicator - Move the light stalk down. Moving the

light stalk down halfway activates the momentary lane change; pushing

the light stalk past the switch detent activates the self- canceling signal.
