Door Central Locking System (If Equipped)
If the vehicle is equipped with the optional central locking system, all doors will
be simultaneously locked/unlocked from the drivers door lock controls.
Glove Box Lock
The glove box, located on the front passenger’s side of the dash panel, contains
a lock, 1, operated using the vehicle’s ignition key. This is useful in securing
valuable items while not in the vehicle.
Child Safety Locks
The rear passenger doors are equipped with child safety locks to prevent the
door from being opened from the inside. When the lever is in the “LOCK”
position, the rear passenger doors can only be opened using the outside door
handles. Refer to Section 2 - Safety Equipment” for additional information.
WARNING
De-activate the child safety locks when not in use. The lock will
prevent the rear doors from being opened from the inside in the event
of an emergency.
