Exterior Care
Follow these tips to protect the exterior of you vehicle:
CAUTION
Tata Motors Limited does not recommend using an
automatic car wash to clean the exterior of your vehicle.
The stiff bristles may mar the vehicle finish.
Do not use cleaners, waxes, or cleaning supplies that
contain abrasives to clean the exterior of the vehicle.

Avoid exposing the vehicle to harsh sunlight, acid rain, bird
droppings, insects, tree sap, etc. for extended periods of time.
Immediately wash any harmful substances contacting the paint.
Whenever possible, park your vehicle in the shade or a well
ventilated garage to preserve the vehicle’s finish.
Always hand-wash the vehicle in the shade or indoors so the
vehicle surfaces are not heated by the sunlight.
Use a commercially available car wash to wash the vehicle
exterior. Always rinse any remaining soap from the exterior
and dry the vehicle completely.
Use a high quality commercially available wax to polish the
vehicle exterior. Apply new wax when water no longer beads
on the vehicle’s painted surface.
Increase the frequency of washing when the vehicle is driven in
coastal areas or dusty conditions.
Thoroughly pressure-wash the undercarriage of the vehicle
every three months or if a heavy coating of mud as accumulated
on the bottom of the vehicle.

Polish chrome surfaces with commercially available chrome
cleaner/polish.
Remove bugs, tar, and grease from the vehicle’s finish using
commercial available bug and tar remover. Avoid using solvents
such as diesel, petrol, kerosene, benzene, or other solvents that
may cause damage to the vehicle’s finish. Consult your local
Tata Motors Limited dealership if unsure of the correct product
to use.
Do not allow chemicals such as brake fluid, battery electrolyte,
power steering fluid, etc. come in contact with the vehicle’s
finish.
