Adding a Sensor 

A sensor must meet the following requirements before it can be added to the security 
system: 

 

Defaulted. 

 

Not currently paired with another Touchscreen device. To unpair a sensor from the 
current Touchscreen, you must delete it. 

1. 

From the Installer Settings menu, touch 

Sensors & Zones > Add a Sensor/Zone

. 

The Locating Wireless Sensors screen 
appears. 

 

2. 

Be sure each sensor to be added to the Touchscreen is in Search mode (refer to the 
documentation for the sensor). Available sensors meet the following requirements: 

 

Defaulted 

 

Not currently paired with another Touchscreen device. (To unpair a sensor from the 
current Touchscreen, delete it, as described on page 88.) 

 

Currently in Search mode.
