RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System Installation Manual

Managing Key Fobs

A maximum of six IP cameras and 47 ZigBee devices are supported for the system. ZigBee
devices consist of anything that communicates with the Touchscreen over radio frequency,
such as door/window sensors, lighting devices, thermostats, Takeover Boards, key pads,
key fobs, and smoke detectors.

A key fob is a mobile device used to quickly arm and disarm the security system.

Perform the operations in this section on key fobs:



Add a key fob

– see page 136.



Change the name of a key fob

– see page 138.



Reset a key fob to factory default settings

– see page 141.



Change the name of a key fob as shown in reports on the Touchscreen and in the
Subscriber Portal

– see page 138.



Delete a key fob

– see page 141.

These operations are performed from the Installer Settings menu (see

“Getting Started” on

page 83).
