RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System Installation Manual 

4.  Be sure the thermostats are ready to be paired by resetting the device to factory default to 

place it in Search mode. 

a. 

Remove the cover at the top of the thermostat device. A circuit board is displayed 
with a black 

Reset 

button on the left side. 

b. 

Press the 

Reset

 button. The device is reset to factory default. 

c. 

Press the 

Menu

 button two times.  

d. 

In the thermostat touch screen, touch the 

Mate

 label below the radio tower icon 

two times. The 

Mate

 label blinks to indicate that the device is in Search mode. 

 

e. 

When the thermostat device is 
found, an icon appears for that 
device. 

 

 

5.  Touch 

Done

. The system notes the 

number of devices that were found and 
paired. 

 

6.  Touch 

Next

. The Configure 

Thermostats screen shows all the 
paired thermostat devices. 

 

7.  Touch a device to configure it.
