Adding Lighting Devices to the Security System
Lighting devices control whether a light is turned on or off. It can even manage dimmable
lights.
You can perform this action after installing wireless sensors, as des
cribed under “Adding
Sensors to the Security System
” on page 33. You can skip this step and add the lighting
devices later, as d
escribed under “Adding a Lighting Device to the Security System” on page
131.
Note:
To update the firmware on any lighting device before adding it to the security system,
reset the lighting device to factory defaults before adding it to the OpenHome Converge
system, so it can receive the necessary changes to communicate with the Touchscreen.

From the Install Zones and Home
Devices screen, touch
Lights
.
2.
When the Locating Devices screen
appears, touch
Next
to search for key
fobs to add.
3.
Plug the lighting device into a wall socket
and secure with a screw.
