RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System Installation Manual
Managing Takeover Boards
A maximum of six IP cameras and 47 ZigBee devices are supported for the system. ZigBee
devices consist of anything that communicates with the Touchscreen over radio frequency,
such as door/window sensors, lighting devices, thermostats, Takeover Boards, key pads,
key fobs, and smoke detectors.
A Takeover Board is a device that allows you to control sensors defined on a Honeywell
Vista 20P system. It can also be referred to as a PIM, or Panel Interface Module. For
information about installing and wiring a Takeover Board
, see “Adding Takeover Boards to
the Security System
” on page 38.
When you add a Takeover Board, the Touchscreen locates sensors that are defined in the
Honeywell Vista systems. They are managed in the same way as wireless sensors that you
add to the Touchscreen. For information, see
“Managing Sensors and Zones” on page 96.
The following operations are used to manage Takeover Boards.

Delete a Takeover Board from the security system

These operations are performed from the Installer Settings menu
