RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System Installation Manual 

Adding a Camera to the Security System 

 

See "Adding Cameras to the Security System" on page 41 for information about 
installing the iCamera to the security system and for troubleshooting tips on installing a 
camera. 

 

Cameras must be connected to the security router during installation. Do not connect a 
camera to a Wi-Fi repeater. 

To add a camera to the security system: 

1. 

From the Installer Settings menu, touch 

Home Devices

. 

 

 

The Home Devices screen appears. 

 

2. 

Touch 

Cameras > Add a Camera

. If a 

network speed test has not been performed 
recently, the Add Camera 

– Network Test 

screen appears. Otherwise, the Hardware 
Setup screen appears (go to step 6). 

 

3. 

Touch 

Next

 to have the Touchscreen upload a file to the system servers to measure the 

time until it receives an acknowledgement.
