Installing

 the Security System

RB6741-Z Touchscreen Security System Installation Manual 

2. 

Repeat step 1 for any additional Takeover Boards. 

3. 

To power the panels, remove the center screw from the wall outlet and plug the panel’s A/C 
adapter into the top plug of the wall outlet. Then replace the center screw through the bracket 
hole. 

4. 

When the panel is powered, it beeps two times and 

uControl

 

appears on the panel’s LCD 

display. In addition, the LED on the Takeover Board blinks. (

The panel’s LCD displays 

CLOSED CKT

 if the wiring is not correct.) 

The Takeover Board is ready to be paired if it is: 

 

In the default state. 

 

In Search Mode (LED blinks 3 times every 5 seconds). 

 

Not currently paired with another Touchscreen.
