• Wait until the pressure has been re-
leased via the aerosol outlets (
4
).
• Open the aerosol outlets (possibly via
ball valves) to ensure free release of the
reservoir pressure.
Check whether the pressure has been
completely released by briely actuating
the safety valve (
5
).
CAUTION
Wear safety goggles and a facial
mask
Aerosol may escape during subse-
quent actuation of the safety valve.
To drain the lubricant, connect an oil-
resistant hose to the lubricant drain
valve (
7
) (on the underside of the control
cabinet housing). Insert the other end
of the hose into a suficiently large oil
drainage reservoir.
• Connect an oil drainage hose (internal
diameter
10 mm) to the lubricant drain valve
(
7
) and insert the other end into the
oil draining reservoir provided by the
customer.
• Open the door of the control cabinet (
8
).
• Actuate the drain valve (
7
) (below the
aerosol generator).
On MQL systems
without
an automatic re-
fill device:
• Close the drain valve (
7
) after draining
the lubricant.
On MQL systems
with
an automatic refill
device:
IMPORTANT NO
TE
On MQL systems with an automatic refill-
ing device, the lubricant drain opening
must not be closed, or a hose must remain
connected to it, since the pressure limit-
ing valve of the pump will relieve possible
overpressure via this outlet.
