1) Process image with analog value transmission as data word
Observe the following information:
o If the optional AM1000 aerosol monitor
is operated on the MQL system, either
UFD10A or UFD20A should generally be
selected so that its measurement data
can be transmitted to the machine tool.
o If the AM1000 is used, DIP switches 4, 7,
and 8 in the MQL control unit must be set
to the ON position
(see Chapter 7.1.1).
o Even if an aerosol monitor is not used,
selecting UFD10A or UFD20A allows for
the transmission of analog measurement
data from the MQL system to the ma-
chine tool, though it is limited to the data
recorded in the MQL system.
o If you select the process image with
analog value transmission (UFD10A or
UFD20A), DIP switch 7 on the respective
control unit must be set to ON (see Chap-
ter 7.1.1).
Then program the software for data ex-
change with the machine tool.
For each aerosol generator, the data is ex-
changed between the machine and the MQL
system via two input and output bytes and
possibly seven input words (see Chapter
8.2).
8.1.1 Implementation in a
PROFINET network
MQL system designs UFD10-1-2XX000 are
incorporated in a PROFINET network via a
model NT50-DP-EN gateway integrated in
the MQL system. The MQL system appears
as an “I/O device” on the gateway in the
PROFINET.
