Command Usage
◆
In some countries or regions, clocks are adjusted through the summer
months so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less.
This is known as Summer Time, or Daylight Savings Time (DST).
Typically, clocks are adjusted forward one hour at the start of spring and
then adjusted backward in autumn.
◆
This command sets the summer-time time zone relative to the currently
configured time zone. To specify a time corresponding to your local time
when summer time is in effect, you must indicate the number of minutes
your summer-time time zone deviates from your regular time zone (that is,
the offset).
Example
The following example sets the 2014 Summer Time ahead by 60 minutes on
March 9th and returns to normal time on November 2nd.
Console(config)#clock summer-time DEST date march 9 2014 01 59 november 2
2014 01 59 60
Console(config)#
