2.1 Application Range
SITRANS F M Intermag 2 is a microprocessor-controlled transmitter
with integrated clear text display in several languages. The transmitter
evaluates the incoming measuring signals from the magnetic-inductive
sensors of the SITRANS F M 711/A, 711/E, 711/S, 711/F5 series and
the insertion sensors S1 and S2. SITRANS F M Intermag 2 is available
as compact and remote version. SITRANS F M 711/F5, FM 711/S and
the insertion sensors S1 and S2 are only available as remote version.
The Intermag 2 can be used for medium flow speeds up to 12 m/s and
for a minimum conductivity of 3
m S/cm on account of the magnetic
constant field.
The main application range of the SITRANS FM transmitter can be
found in the following fields:
