Media for saving data

Depending on the routine you use, one or several drives for external data media
(CD/DVD-R) will be connected to your system.

Transfer Configuration

you can define how the data of a patient are to be

written to a medium (memory utilization and compression).

Data media

ARCADIS Varic supports the following media types for saving data:

❏

DVD-R (minus R) and

❏

USB stick

If other media is accidentally used, e.g., DVD+R or DVD-RW, this may impair
functionality.

Data are archived to a central archive via the network. The archive can use other
data media.

Handling of data

media

Please pay attention to the instructions of the manufacturer for handling and stor-
age of CD/DVD-Rs.

Drives

Your system comes with a CD/DVD writer for data storage.
