11-4 Checking the Battery Level and Replacing the Button Cell
Battery
This product includes an internal button cell battery for backup power. If this battery becomes
depleted, the clock setting and log data will be lost when the power is switched OFF. Therefore,
periodically check the battery level and replace it when necessary. (Replacement batteries are
not included with the system. Please purchase them separately.)

Checking the Button Cell Battery Level
This product includes an alarm function that checks the battery level when the system power
is switched ON and outputs either of the two alarm types depending on the battery level.
(1) Switch ON the power.
(2) In the alarm log screen, check the alarm information near the time when the power was
switched ON.
(See 9-4 Viewing the Alarm Log on page 67.)
(3) If either of the following two types of alarms is recorded, the battery level is low or
depleted.

Note: Repeat the steps above 2 or 3 times and if an alarm message is recorded each time,
then replace the battery.
