This product is intended for measuring dust levels. Do not use it for any purposes other than
indicated in this manual. Doing so could result in malfunction.

The product is designed for use with a 100 V AC power supply. Do not use it with power supply
voltages other than those specified. Doing so could result in malfunction.
•
The normal operating temperature range of this product is 0 to 40

C, with humidity between 10
and 90 % RH (and no condensation). Operating the product outside these temperature and
humidity ranges could reduce performance, shorten the service life, or cause malfunction.
•
Never attempt to connect to the connector using wire or other metal objects, or any other
method not specified in this manual. Doing so could result in malfunction.
•
Do not drop or otherwise subject the product to large impacts. Doing so could result in an
accident or malfunction.
•
Do not lift or carry the product by holding the air sampling tube. Doing so could damage the
product.
•
Level the product and secure it to prevent tipping over. Not doing so could result in an accident
or malfunction.
•
Do not operate or store the product near a fire. Doing so could result in an accident or
malfunction.
•
Keep the product away from sources of noise. Do not operate the product in locations with a
strong magnetic field. Doing so could result in malfunction.
•
Exposing the product to strong sunlight could cause the main unit to become very hot. Be
careful to avoid burn injuries from touching such hot surfaces.
•
Do not expose the product directly to water, such as by spraying it with a hose. Doing so could
result in malfunction.
•
Be sure to operate the pump with a protective filter installed. Sampling air for long periods
without a filter installed could result in malfunction.
•
Do not insert screws or other foreign objects into the air sampling port. Doing so could result in
malfunction. If any foreign object gets inside the air sampling port, switch OFF the power switch,
disconnect the power cord from the power outlet, and then contact your Sibata representative.
•
Please be aware that in the unlikely event of a product failure, Sibata bears no responsibility to
compensate for data not acquired or recorded, and is not responsible for loss of data or for
other direct or indirect damages incurred from such loss. Be sure to back up data on a regular
basis in case of an accident or failure.
