3 About This Product
3-1 Overview
This dust monitor consists of a cabinet containing a light-scattering type dust indicator that is able
to continuously measure dust levels in outdoor environments. Using the product makes it possible
to conveniently measure the outdoor dust concentrations. Also, thanks to an extensive selection of
output functions, multiple units can be used to monitor dust concentrations at construction sites or
along the boundaries of undeveloped building sites.

Installing a filter allows a single FLD-1 dust monitor to be used for concurrent measurements
to determine the mass concentration conversion factor.

The compact design allows easy portability and placement.

Extensive output functions allow various system configurations.

A logging function allows uploading measurement results to a computer.

Maintenance simply involves replacing the filter cartridges and the filters.

The internal heater minimizes any increase in measurement values due to condensation or

PM2.5 particles can be measured by installing an optional PM2.5 cyclone particle size
selector.

Connecting an optional weather sensor makes it possible to simultaneously measure the
external air temperature, relative humidity, wind direction, and wind speed as well as dust.
