To make the next measurement, unload the

the [UNIT] key.
Notes
• Up to four decimal places are displayed for density or specific gravity.
Depending on the measurement conditions, not all digits are stable even
the balance is working normally. The [UNIT] key can also be used to
change the minimum display.
How to change the minimum display in density (specific gravity)
display
When the result is displayed, press and keep holding down the [UNIT] key
for about three seconds. This changes the minimum display to 10d (d:
original minimum display). Every time the same key operation is made, the
minimum display changes and cycles in the order of “1d
→ 10d → 100d
→ 1000d → 1d → ”.
• If liquid specific gravity is input instead of liquid density in Procedure
1
60-2 , the sample specific gravity will be calculated and displayed.
• When placing samples on the immersed hanging pan, make sure the
entire sample is submerged in the liquid.
• If using specific gravity measurement kit (special accessory) SMK101A or
SMK-102, use according to the kit instruction manual.
• Refer to A8. for below-weigh hook shapes.
• UP Series automatic mode (10.2) cannot be used. Change to UW/UX
Series automatic mode.
The “ ” on the top right and bottom right of the display which indicates environmental settings, will not be
displayed even when using pouring mode (8.2).
The in air and in water weight measurement display will be given priority.
