There is no need to connect the Ethernet cable and establish communication with the instrument
unless the settings for the Start and Stop conditions need to be changed or holograms need to be
downloaded. Moving the Switch Lever
to the ‘1’ position will start the current sampling program.
For short term or long term storage of the LISST-Holo2 it should be put into Sleep mode. The
instrument will automatically go into lower power sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity if the
automatic sleep has not been disabled on the Tools page. You can also manually put the LISST-
Holo2 to sleep using the Sleep button on the Tools page. The switch lever should be left in the ‘0’
position and it is highly recommended that the internal batteries be fully charged before storing
the instrument. The Battery Vent should be closed during storage or anytime the batteries are
not being charged.
