Since trunk group 101 in the above example has the priority with preference
value of 1, it is selected first. After that trunk group 102 and trunk group 103
follow.

In the above example, trunk group 101, 102 is not designated in terms of
preference number. When preference number is not designated, have 13,
which is the lowest value. Thus, selecting trunk group 103 comes first and
then has the sequence of 101 and 102.
Hunt Scheme
Hunt scheme is the selection method for selecting voice port or channel.
Trunk group having various members uses hunt scheme to find idle channel
for routing outgoing call. Hunt scheme provided in Ubigate iBG2016 is
random, round-robin, sequential.
Assume the three trunk groups. A has the preference value which is the
smallest. Let’s assume that C has the biggest value and B has the larger value
than A.
Optional parameters can modify the search to look in either ascending or
descending order for an even-numbered channel, an odd-numbered channel, or
either type.
Random
Trunk group finds idle channel in random sequence. This method does not
involve how call distribution is made between channels or whether the single
channel is used more than other channels. Select channel regardless of
standard of ascending series, descending series or odd, even channel.
