Digit Translation Rule
Digit translation rule is used for changing digit of calling number or called
number and numbering type, numbering plan.
For example, when the users call dialed with the only five extension digit to
other employees using other sites in company, changing to the ten digit type
capable of recognizing the difference in the central office switching system
should be done. In this case, use digit translation rule.
For example, the users may dial with the only five extension digit to other
employees at another sites in company. If the call is routed through the PSTN
to reach the other site, the iBG2016 must use translation rules to convert the
five digit extension into the 10-digit format that is recognized by the central
office switch.
Translation rule Set can be configured with translation-rule up to 15 sets.
The kind of rule includes both match & replace rule and reject rule.
The pattern expression in each rule uses the expression characteristic of SED
like.
Designating translation rule set against called number, calling number, can
configure translation profile.
Translation profile and translation rule set is possible to apply to the various
points like the following.

Trunk Group - The two different translation profile can be applied to
incoming, outgoing POTS call. The two different translation rule sets can be
designated against called number and calling number.

Access Group - Designating translation profile, rule set to apply translation
to Incoming VoIP call is possible.
y
Dial-peer.
y
Voice-port.
y
Voip incoming.
