3. Paper Feed Tray Safety Mechanism

The paper feed tray upper safety switch and the paper feed tray lower safety switch ensure the safety while the
paper feed tray is being raised or lowered.

If the paper feed cover is pushed up, the paper feed tray upper safety switch goes OFF, and if the lower limit
frame is pressed down, the paper feed tray lower safety switch goes OFF. If either one of the two safety
switches goes OFF, the elevator motor is turned off.
