Moving pH average active
Enables you to activate the calculation of a moving average of the pH measurements.
Time span of moving pH average
The time span over which a moving average of the pH measurements will be
calculated.
3.3.1.4.1 pH control with mixer valve
pH gain 0 - 1000
The factor that determines how many seconds the dosage valves must be actuated if
a difference arises between the calculated pH and the measured control pH.
pH differentiation time 0 - 1000 sec.
0: The differentiation time is disabled. This mode is suitable in virtually all cases.
1 -> 300: In the case of a mixer valve: The degree to which control of the mixer valve
will be damped.
Maximum control percentage of mixer valve 0 - 100 %
1 -> 99: The percentage of the total cycle time that the mixer valve may be actuated.
100: Maximum control percentage pH has no influence.
This setting limits the length of time that the mixer valve will be actuated, so
that a delay in the dosing system (e.g. due to a mixer tank) will not cause
fluctuations in pH control.
3.3.1.4.2 Adjusting the pH with a mixer valve
Set the pH setpoint for the valve group. Make sure that the gain is set to 100,
and the differentiation time is set to 0.
Start an irrigation cycle using the valve group.
Monitor the trend of the measured pH (control pH) in relation to the calculated
pH setpoint in the 'Activities' summary.
Calibrate the mixer valve as follows:
1. Set the Gain to 100.
pH control tends to function best when the differentiation time is disabled (set
to 0).
2. If pH control is still too unstable, lower the value set for 'Maximum control
percentage of mixer valve'.
3.3.1.4.3 pH control with dosage valves
pH gain 0 - 1000
The factor that determines how many seconds the dosage valves must be operated if
a difference arises between the calculated pH and the measured control pH.
