Refer to the timing chart on the previous page as you
read the following.

1 In the ADF mode, the pulse count starts at 3.5 sec-
onds after the Start key ON. In the platen mode, count-
ing starts from the Start key ON.

2 Homing operation (moves from the home position or
other place, then returns to the home position) of the
jogger and back fences is done for the accuracy of the
home position.
The distance of the jogger and back fences from the
home positions to the specified size position is
controlled by the number of pulses for each stepper mo-
tor.

3 Jogger operation during duplex stacking is done at
2.2 second intervals, regardless of paper size.
The operation continues until stacking is completed.
