Intermediate Transfer Belt Replacement

Belt Initialization/ Lubrication

•

Apply lubricant to both the cleaning blade and intermediate transfer belt.

•

Do not pull out the used toner collection bottle when you apply the lubricant to the
cleaning blade and intermediate transfer belt. Also, do not open the cover for the
used toner collection bottle.

1. The machine power must be OFF and both front doors must be open.
2. Remove the PTR unit (

Be sure to remove the PTR unit. If you execute SP2-920-001 with PTR unit
attached, blade curling may occur.

3. Remove the front cover of the ITB cleaning unit.
