Setting the OPC Drum to its Optimal Position Defined at the Factory

Set the drum to its optimal position in correlation with the development roller as
determined at the factory in the following procedure.

1. Set the development unit on the rails.

2. Set the OPC drum so that the mark [A] on the flange of the drum aligns with the mark

[B] on the drum shaft.

・

There are two kinds of marks on the drum flange and shaft – ‘I/I’ and ‘+/T’. You
can choose which mark to align, but make sure to align the ‘I’ mark with the ‘I’
mark or the ‘+’ mark with the ‘T’ mark.

3. Set the charger unit.
