F-5. Set the paper transfer current (belt-to-paper PTR DC bias) in the Advanced Settings
below according to the print mode; simplex or duplex, BW or FC or FCS or S, as
follows:
1) First, set the value to “-2” and check the print quality. If acceptable, stop the
procedure. If unacceptable, continue.
2) Set the value to “-5” and check the print quality. Stop or continue depending on
the results.
3) Set the value to “+2” and check the print quality. Again, stop or continue
depending on the results.
4) Set the value to “+5” and check the print quality. No further adjustments
available. Stop the procedure by applying the setting that produced the best
results.

Note the following possible side effects when the paper transfer current is increased:

White spots (especially in low temperature / low humidity environment)

If printed in FC mode, the density of black appears low (especially in high
temperature / high humidity environment).
